Built by a woman who needed this room before she knew how to ask for it.

Hey there! I'm Allison, founder of The Black Women Collective, and I know what it's like to hold everything together while everyone around you assumes you're fine. Because you always look fine. I spent years being the strongest person in the room and the most depleted person in the room, at the same time, and nobody could tell the difference. I thought that was just what it meant to lead. Show up. Hold it down. Rest later. But later kept not coming.
REST. RESTORE. RENEW. is the room I needed before I knew how to ask for it. A space where you don't have to explain why you're tired, and you don't have to earn your rest first. This isn't a conference. It's not a mastermind. It's permission, not performance. We have to be progressively selfish. Not because we've stopped caring about everyone else, but because we finally believe we're allowed to matter too. This time, you get to come first.
Here, I answer the ones I hear most from women who are ready to finally choose themselves.
For the Black woman entrepreneur, executive, or leader who's used to being the one everyone leans on. If people rely on you constantly and you're quietly running on empty, this was made for you.
No. Every woman in that room understands what it means to carry a lot without complaint. You'll feel known here faster than you expect.
Last year included guided journaling, breathwork, aromatherapy, drumming circles, community connection, and nourishing meals together. This year carries that same spirit. We'll share the full itinerary soon.
No. This is a real space to put your body and mind down for a while, with women who understand exactly why you need to. Nothing here is performative.
Yes. In fact, that's exactly who this is for. You're allowed to step away for three days. Everyone will still be there when you get back, and you'll come back more whole for having gone.
These women chose to step away from the demands of everyday life and returned to themselves
in ways they didn't expect.
This is what it looked like when a group of women finally put everything down, even for just a weekend.
